Not the girl you marry, “in my opinion“, is Not the book you read! This was a very disappointing read and I almost did not finish it.

SYNOPSIS->
This is a “How to lose a Guy in 10 days” retelling with the roles switched around. Jack is a journalist who strikes or deal with his boss, to do the piece on losing a girl, in exchange for moving up in his Career. Hannah is an event planner who needs to prove she has a romantic side, to bag the big wedding events. Jack and Hannah are perfect for each other’s purposes, but their fake relation seems too real to them.

Please tell me I’m not the only one who finds this premise completely unrealistic & absurd. I cannot justify why Bosses will make career decisions based on their employee’s personal life! Assuming this happens in some bizarre world, the story was still very flat

Jack and Hannah are repeatedly said to hold strong ideals & opinions but when it comes to actions, they have no real character. It was an annoying pattern & it was difficult like either of them. The writing is one-of-a-kind odd and I had trouble visualizing that!
