⭐️Grounding, Great, Game-changer⭐️

You Are A Bad Ass by Jen Sincero is the first self-help book I read last year. I love this book & couldn’t really bring myself to write a review for it -> for fear of not being able to do justice to the book.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

Synopsis->

In this refreshingly entertaining how-to guide, #1 New York Times Bestselling Author and world-traveling success coach, Jen Sincero, serves up 27 bite-sized chapters full of hilariously inspiring stories, sage advice, easy exercises, and the occasional swear word. If you’re ready to make some serious changes around here, You Are a Badass will help you: Identify and change the self-sabotaging beliefs and behaviors that stop you from getting what you want, blast past your fears so you can take big exciting risks, figure out how to make some damn money already, learn to love yourself and others, set big goals and reach them – it will basically show you how to create a life you totally love, and how to create it now.
By the end of You Are a Badass, you’ll understand why you are how you are, how to love what you can’t change, how to change what you don’t love, and how to use The Force to kick some serious ass.

Review->
I have heard people say that self-help books are a sham and it is an industry that feeds on other people’s insecurities. I strongly disagree. I believe everyone has the potential to do something great. And not everyone has the right support or mindset to reach for their aspirations. Self-help books provide that much-needed boost or encouragement to help you recognize the tools you have at your disposal. This in turn will show you ways in which you can plan and dream big. These books do not really teach you anything new. They simply give you a wake up call to see your skills from a different & more positive perspective.

In ‘You Are A Bad Ass’, Jen talks about the importance of getting uncomfortable to grow. She talks about mastering the mind and being proactive in creating the life you want. The book has helpful affirmations that can be modified to suit your needs. The book also touches on the crab affect & how most people are stuck because of their inability to make firm decisions. I found all the chapters in the book teaching, simple & easy to consume.
