I was sent me a copy of The Meat Hunter by the publisher! & Wow! What-a-book! This is definitely the most graphic,violent & yet completely captivating book that I have ever read. Meat Hunter is Megan Allen’s book in the new genre “thrillers with a social conscience“. And I really like this one.

SYNOPSIS->
Molly bishop grew up on a farm & was horrified by her father’s indifference towards the animals they raised. Now, a seductive & cunning woman, she seeks out the cruelest members of the meat industry & offers her own brand of redemption. Molly’s mission is clear! Those who raise animals for meat should understand what it feels like to become meat. But the FBI is on to her!

Molly is unapologetic & a solid bad ass. Her character is written so convincingly-that even though it is not normal at all, I couldn’t categorize her as unreal. She was very much an embodiment of several woman’s aspirations, goals & frustrations. She was just so smooth in her encounters with others.

That doesn’t mean she is a good person or her actions are justified & that is the only place I disagree with narrative. Otherwise this book is just epic. I don’t want to give away spoilers but the psychopathic twist in this book is just too good and very creative! And the murders definitely gave me the chills. They were written in excruciating detail.

I do recommend reading the book but have to strongly caution you that it is very very very violent & graphic. So read it only if you are up to it.
