⭐️Dreamy,Diverse,Delightful⭐️ . I am a huge fan of @sandhya and her Dimpleverse books. They are the cutest!! I was looking forward to reading this Beauty & the Beast retelling & absolutely loved it. . ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 . SYNOPSIS-> For Princess Jaya Rao, nothing is more important than family. When the Emerson clan steps up their centuries-old feud to target Jaya’s little sister, Jaya seeks revenge. She knows what she must do: Make Grey fall in love with her and break his heart. His Lordship Grey Emerson is a misanthrope. Thanks to an ancient curse by a Rao, Grey knows he’s doomed once he turns 18.He lived an isloated existence until Jaya Rao bursts into his life, and an inevitable and forbidden love story starts. . REVIEW-> Beauty & the beast is my one of my favorite fairytales & this modern retelling has only increased my love for the tale. I love myself a forbidden love story and this is perfect. The character development in the book progress slowly & Jaya is as determined as Grey is withdrawn. The contrasting personalities is an ode to the fairytale & I really liked how the contemporary plot resonates with the classic. . This has a dash of everything- self-acceptance, liberation, family & sister drama. We get to hear all of Jaya & Grey’s inner battles as they confront their insecurities and duties. This was tempered and convincing enough. Excellently balanced Writing! . This book pulled me out of my month-long reading slump in June and I would love for you to read it too!
