⭐️Political,Phenomenal,Puzzling⭐️ . As a Harlan Coben fan, I was really looking forward to reading this book. And it got extra special because I won my copy in a giveaway from @paigethroughbooks and got to discuss the book for #harlancobentherereadthat . This book is as twisty and fast-paced as Coben is famed for. And ofcourse the cover art is so apt and beautiful!!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
SYNOPSIS-> 2 teenagers Naomi & crash go missing within a span of a few days. Wilde- a real life Mowgli who was found living in the woods as a boy-is now a specialist at crime investigation. When he is approached to find Naomi, his search gets him entangled with Crash’s case too. As the investigation furthers, he is on a path to unearth a sinister plot that is way beyond just the case of 2 missing teens. . REVIEW-> I really liked the story overall. It has the usual Coben thriller elements – a lot of unknowns, potential suspects, a string of surprises and all tied together neatly at the end. Then narrative is well done & was not misleading or confusing at any time. . I was a little let down that Wilde’s character wasn’t given more history. I was hoping to learn more about him. But a lot of people have hinted at a Wilde sequel so I’m going to let that rest. . Each character is given a history & that makes them memorable. I love Hester’s character the most- She is a lawyer in her 70s trailblazing through the world. . In conclusion, though I felt a little unsatisfied with this book, I would still recommend a read, because I am obsessed with Coben’s books & tend to be a little biased.
