Read In With Us
Hello Fellow Readers! I have some exciting news! Hollie over at @mommieruthless and I are hosting a Read In. This is a virtual event for everyone who loves reading and meeting new people. Being on Bookstagram(instagram for books), I have met many book lovers and enjoyed reading with them. Hollie and I came across Read Ins during the The Reading Rush Readathon, and it was an awesome experience for a couple of us to get together and just read . So we are bringing an adhoc version of the Read In for you. Join us to experience the fun !
What is a Read In ?
A Virtual Read In is an event where readers come together at a set time to read their own books together. We will start with a round of introductions and then settle down to read our own books. We will end the session with a summary of what we have read and call out any favorite quotes/parts from the book. By the end, you will have officially read, undisturbed for about 40 minutes and met new book lovers too.
PS. This is not a book club discussion and we will not be reading the same book.
What should You bring ?
An excellent question, my Friend. Just yourself and your current read.. 🙂
Friends, Kids, Family, Pets interested in reading are always welcome too!
