This book! So so good! Definitely one of my most favorite reads of the year! And a book I will be raving about & recommending for a long long time.

I listened to the audiobook for this one & it is excellent !! There is a whole cast of characters narrating the dialogues & telephone conversations are played with a static background to imitate a transcript experience. This made the story very real & is one of the best audio books I have listened to.
As for the story & the plot unfolding, OMG! I don’t have enough praise for the smartness and simplicity of this book. The twists keep coming and every one of them is a jaw dropper.
I love how the reason for Pip’s obsession with the case is explained at the very beginning. In thrillers, I expect & want the MC to do something when they find a clue, but they usually do something mysterious or not-so-obvious. But not Pip! She was smart and straightforward. She did the exact thing I keep hoping for her to do. She drew the same conclusions as me, but was far clevered and cracked the case beautifully.
Love love love this amazing book & highly recommend reading it!
