I read this book for the B&N YA Book Club . . The story traces a love story from Shane’s teen years. She travels to London to study abroad for a Semester & meets new friends – Pilot, Sahra, Amy. She goes out on adventures and also finds herself falling in love with Pilot, who unfortunately has a girlfriend . She doesn’t really seize all the opportunities she is presented with & plunges into her perfect planned life after returning from London. . Fast forward several years , and Shane is an adult , about to get married . But she seeks out Pilot for closure, and throw in some magical time travel and Shane and Pilot are transported back to their teen years in London , with a second chance at changing their lives and following their destiny. . I am all for a cheesy love story , but this book had a lot of it. This was a predictable , light read. The book is the author’s debut novel and her writing style is the only good thing about the book.
