SYNOPSIS->
Natasha is a believer in science & facts and everything non-dreamy. She is an immigrant from Jamaica whose family is getting deported from the US. Daniel is of Korean origin & is a hopeless romantic and dreamer. When the two teenagers meet, something extraordinary happens and the universe sends them a connection that transcends the reality they know.

The story is simple & happens over one day. But so much happens in one day & it is beautiful. And wonderful. And oh so good! The writing by Nicola is just magical. The story is told from both Natasha and Danielle’s POV & their thoughts are so simple and complicated at the same time. How can an author even begin to think, let alone write like this? So delicate! Their perception of each other is just magic. There is a small backstory to all the characters involved, no matter how small their role. So everyone matters! Not just our protagonists.

I believe this is a book you need to read, to experience the bliss I am raving about. This is now a movie too, but I haven’t watched it. It is impossible that any adaptation of this book can even scratch the surface, of capturing the intricate beauty and complexity this book offers.
