Lock every door is a thriller by Riley Sager with a great plot, and I was looking forward to really loving this one . But the ending just wasn’t convincing enough 😐 !

Jules Larsen is on a downward spiral – laid off at work , cheated on by her Boyfriend , no family & no place to live in. She is overwhelmed when she lands a job as an apartment sitter at the Bartholomew, one of Manhattan’s most coveted and mysterious buildings. The pay is great and the apartment has a fabulous view, giving Jules plenty of time & money to fix her life. But she realizes things are not all rosy, when a fellow Apartment Sitter Ingrid goes missing. Fueled by the trauma of losing her family years ago, Jules starts looking for Ingrid & that takes Jules down a path, where she discovers the disturbing secrets of the Bartholomew . She must find a way out before she is the next one to go missing.

This book is a domestic thriller, where the suspense creeps upon you in the most unexpected and normal settings. #Theturnofthekey falls under the same category & I love the unique experience such books provide. The premise of the book is new & I like how the book has a small set of characters to follow. The story is laid out well and does not get confusing, like some narratives with twists tend to get. I was engrossed by the suspense the book created, but the answers provided were just not convincing enough for me.  I would still recommend reading this thriller if you can let some minor plot holes slide by.
