SYNOPSIS->

If you have read The Whisper Man by the Author, then you know how spooky his writing & characters can be. Well, turn up the spookiness & mystery by a few notches & you have ‘The Shadows’. There are so many unexpected plot twists, that I was actually jumping ‘What the hell? You can’t do that!’ Deliciously creepy(did I already say that?) and filled with interesting characters & cliffhangers, the book has a few crossovers from The Whisper Man too. And I love a well executed crossover.

There are a lot of similarities between the two books too, but they add to the richness of the narrative, more than anything else. I also like how Parenthood and Parent-child bond is the backbone of both his novels. Definitely check out the shadows on 7/7. The Shadows is also a July BOTM selection.
