This was one of my best reads of 2019 & let me tell you why. This is a no-nonsense-to-the-point book, that makes you question all the excuses you tell yourself unconsciously. And so, this is an enlightening & excellent read.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
To be clear , this is a non-fiction, self-help book. I like to read a self-help book occasionally, because it helps keep myself motivated. I believe in “If you don’t see inspiration around you – go find it “- Me . I learnt 2 important things from this book, that has changed me on a fundamental level. The book says “Don’t wait for the mood to do something. Act immediately.” This struck a chord with me, because this is the excuse I have been using for years to procrastinate. Not in a mood to cook, to clean, to get groceries…. Blah blah. And I wasn’t even doing it consciously, that has just become part of how I process tasks. I have worked hard on pushing back & doing things first to get in the “mood” later & that has changed my routine a lot. . The other point is Neuroplasticity & the importance of good thoughts . I tried explaining neuroplasticity here, but I think Googling it would help you understand it better. . I highly recommend getting this book for a quick understanding of what habits you could be embodying subconsciously to hold yourself back.
