Dragon head by James Houston Turner is a thriller published earlier this month. Before I talk about the book, let me tell you guys about the Author! I had the privilege of chatting with him while I was reading this book and he is just so down-to-earth and awesome. Check out his other books too guys.

Coming to Dragonhead, this book is definitely a good read.
.
1.5 Billion dollars vanishes in a cyber crime. There is an assassination attempt on Congresswoman Gustaves. The American air traffic GPS is hacked, causing the collision of 2 flights mid-air with 1000s of casualities. All the incidents seem to have a common denominator-Alex Talanov – a former KGB agent turned American spy. While Talanov tries to figure out the incidents, He is being hunted by Dragonhead-a crime Lord in Hong Kong.
.
This book is packed with action sequences. And they are put on paper so well, it was a breeze for me to visualize the stunts performed. The story is fast-paced and there is never a dull moment. A combination of political leaders, CIA and FBI agents, Chinese spies and Russian military personnel –this book has all the makings of a super serious thriller. And that it is, but with the ocassional exception of sarcasm & humour added in by 3 Kids, who form a large part of the narrative. Unexpected for a thriller, but it worked out rather well. I really like the mood the kids brought out, but I thought Jingfei call Talanov a Dinosaur way too many times!
.
The chapters are small, easy to read and have got deadly cliffhangers. A good thriller for folks of all ages.

Thanks to the Author for gifting me a copy of this book. All thoughts and content are my own.
