SYNOPSIS->
Invited to participate in an escape room challenge as a team-building exercise, 4 ferociously competitive co-workers crowd into the elevator of a high-rise building, eager to prove themselves. But when the lights go off and the doors stay shut, it quickly becomes clear that this is no ordinary competition: they’re caught in a dangerous game of survival.As tempers fray, and clues turn deadly, they must solve one final chilling puzzle: which one of them will kill in order to survive?

REVIEW->
Four Wall Street executives, who have worked together for years, being stuck in an escape room is a very fresh & interesting premise for a thriller. Since the main characters are colleagues, this book brings out a lot of dirty office politics & how some employees know no bounds when it comes to their career.
.
As an Employee, I can vouch that job takes precedence over personal life & social commitments a lot of times. The story blatantly brings that into the plot, to show how empty life can feel without the right work-life balance.
.
There are several wonderful twists in the book. A shiver ran down my spine – quite literally by the unexpected turn of events in the storyline & I loved that this book made me feel so scared. The excellent writing skills brought out such strong emotions in me.
.
I highly recommend reading this “corporate thriller” !!
