Autonomous cars is a fascinating innovation we have come up with. What dictates the decision making of the AI? Do they know ethical and moral values? These are some questions that “The Passengers” begs to ask through this book. I loved this exhilarating fast-paced novel with its amazing tech take.

This is my first John Mars book and I have fallen totally in love with the Author’s writing style. Some scenes have been written so descriptively that visualizing them is effortless. The story is gripping & there isn’t one dull moment throughout the narrative. A lot of research has gone into the book to make it factually accurate.

They are twists up until the last page of the book and that had me totally hooked. What I enjoyed most is how I watched my opinion about each passenger change with every new piece of information revealed about them. I disliked, pitied, adored & respected the same passengers at different chapters & alternated between wanting them to be sacrificed vs saved. I was heavily invested in all their stories and had a tough time deciding who I was willing to sacrifice.

A great thriller and I highly recommend reading it. This plot would make for a great movie too.
