⭐️Fun, Familiar, Feel-good ⭐️ • Another magical retelling by Jen Calonita with a menacing twist. Frozen has been my favorite Disney movie since its release in 2013 & I will take as many re-tellings of the story as I can get.
⭐️⭐️⭐️.5/5
SYNOPSIS-> What if Anna and Elsa never knew each other? When a magical accident erases Anna and Elsa’s memories not only of magic, but of each other the sisters are separated for protection. But when Elsa unexpectedly finds herself as a young queen mysterious magic begins to happen and questions of her past start to form. Will the sisters ever be reunited.
REVIEW-> Jen introduces that Anna is raised by her adoptive parents & so does not know about Elsa while growing up. I really liked how she made sure that this twist is not conjured out of thin air & has its roots in the movie’s plot itself. There are also some other changes, with Hans (the scumbag in every version of Frozen) trying to court Elsa instead of Anna , that spun nice twists.
I listened to the audio book for this one and my favorite is Olaf’s voice. The narrator has done an amazing job at portraying Olaf & I could imagine the snowman squawking around. A well imagined , written and narrated book.

About The Author
Jen Calonita has always loved writing. Her first published piece was in the sixth grade newspaper where she wrote about an attack snake who bothered her canoe on a class field trip. These days she writes about fairy tale worlds, Hollywood lives and music.
A big fan of Cinderella as a child, Jen always wondered what would happen if the Wicked Stepmother apologized to Cinderella for her behavior and tried to prove she was now a good fairy tale citizen. Jen figured the Wicked Stepmother might convince other villains to behave and together they would teach children on the path to wickedness how to be good at…Fairy Tale Reform School. The series, which includes many classic fairy tale characters, has its own stories to be told, starting with Misfits.
